Dot Origin Digital Accessibility Statement
Dot Origin is committed to ensuring that our products and services are accessible to everyone who visits one of our e-commerce web sites or consults our product user assistance.
We are continuously improving the accessibility and usability of all of our web sites.
Compliance status
Our current benchmark is that our e-commerce web sites and user documentation should comply with level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG). We are partially-compliant with this standard at present and working to improve our web sites.
You should be able to zoom up to 200% without problems, read and navigate most of the site, submit forms and make purchases using a screen reader on a computer or phone.
How we test
Accessibility will be tested against the benchmark before any new web site is approved for launch. This will involve representative sampling of web site functionality, using the latest version of Microsoft Edge browser and using an NVDA screen reader.
Existing sites, which pre-date this initiative, will be tested against W3C WCAG 2.2 AA alongside routine site maintenance over the next two years. Plans will be put in place to address any deficiencies that are found in a timely manner.
How we improve
Despite our best efforts, we are aware of some accessibility limitations which we are working to fix. We would encourage anyone who encounters an accessibility barrier when using one of our web sites to report it to us on the site email support address, or use the form at https://www.dotorigin.com/support/. Let us know about your experience, including the hardware device, assistive technology (if any) and browser combination you were using. We are always ready to learn from user experiences that could help us to build more inclusive web sites.
